This project included the selective demolition and replacement of (2) 80-ton chilled water air handler units within the mechanical penthouse of the PG&E San Carlos Service Center, as well as structural upgrades to the roof diaphragm. The client was very pleased that CB2 was able to perform all work with no disruption to the tenant's air supply needs during business hours. Structural upgrades included new installation of steel collector plates, tie rods and hold downs.
